For the Parody Song project, I worked with Kali Micetich. Our parody was based on Taylor Swift’s “Our Song,” which we called ours “Our Sus.” “Our Sus” is about Among Us, a popular game. We chose to make our song about this because we always talk about Among Us. It is also such a big joke online. I think this is a good parody because not only did we add our vocals over the music, but we also added sound effects from the game for an added effect. I had a lot of fun working on this and improving my ProTools skills, but it was a challenge for me. In the beginning, I was struggling with remembering the shortcuts and it was slowing me down. Now, I am able to use ProTools a lot easier, and I can’t wait to work with it more and improve my skills.
